Just Some Stuff at Walmart

I decided to check my blood pressure on one of those blood pressure checking machines. It came out 145/133! I was a little freaked out and decided I'd better check it again. The next time it came out as 120/69, much better. But which one should I believe?

Another weird thing was that the kids didn't want any of their usual wants. We passed the toy section and they couldn't care less, we passed the candy, the cookies, the crackers, the pudding, the hot dogs, the soda pop, and even the salad dressings and the kids didn't ask for anything! Until we got to the sugar. I don't know why, but they went CuRaZy when they saw the bags of sugar. They both ran up and down the aisles yelling "SUGAR!" Meici would not put down what she called her "sugar-baby." I don't get it.

Since Meici's always pretending she's a kitty, we bought her this little jacket.

That is how she smiles when I tell her to smile. I've got to do something about that.

While we were checking out, Meici got a hold of one of these power drinks, I asked her what what was inside and she told me a mermaid.

This is what we ended up buying.

Yes those are Boca burgers, because I'm a vegetarian. And yes, that is a whole entire roasted chicken because my husband is not. And yes, those are four cartons of ice cream because I'm not one of those healthy vegetarians.

I bought all that jello because I had to make this:

I stayed up until four in the morning making it. I was supposed to take it to a little church event the next morning but I didn't go because I was too tired from staying up so late making this

I was supposed to take it to a little church event the next morning, but I was too tired to even go because I stayed up so late making this:

I was supposed to take it to a little church event the next morning but I was too tired from making jello all night so we brought it to a different little event later that night at a friends house.

That's my husband at said event.

He's never afraid to be the first one to dig in when the host says "dinner's almost ready!"

There was a lady at this party that kept saying Z looked like a movie star. I completely agree with her. The first time I ever saw my husband I thought he looked just like this guy from Rush Hour:

It was probably because he was blond back then and holding a gun.

Will you be bringing the rest of that jello to the Bloganthropy Brunch Saturday morning?

Meici looks cute in her Aristocats (are they rereleasing that?) jacket, but even cuter holding her sugar baby. I'm really glad you're not one of thos healthy vegetarians: they can be such a drag.

I'm surprised you can do anything being up so late making that jello. It's really impressive. Would you mind making that for me when I go to a ward function?

i was at walmart last night. late. you know, 9pm. late for me right now. seeing as i've been taking a pre-nursing nap from 9-10:30pm. it really makes me a lot less onery for the 1:30am nursing. good for everyone involved. so i bought underwear, batteries, a water, and a frame b/c i accidentally knocked my friend's frame off of her wall and broke it on friday. sigh.

What is that? And how do I make it? Had I known that stuff had mermaids in it I would have bought some a while ago. I *heart* mermaids!

That jello is amazing!!!!
You know, I never thought of taking photos in the grocery store and blogging about them. You are SO stinkin' creative!

Aw, I bought one of those drinks, and mine only had a leprechaun in it! How do you know which are the ones with mermaids?

And even though I don't like jello, I want to make that rainbow one because it looks SO FREAKIN COOL!

Where was the sugar baby? You didn't want to buy that for Meici? I'm sure it'd be easy to keep clean...

I LOVE Boca burgers! I used to be vegetarian, but then decided I still liked eating chicken, and then I got pregnant and was iron deficient, so I started eating steak occasionally. But only steak. If I'm going to break down and eat red meat, I may as well go for the good stuff, right? :)

Meici looks adorable in her kitty jacket!!!
